What do I do if I have an emergency?
Have the following ready:
* Owner's name and phone number
* Name, age, breed, sex of the horse
* Description of the problem
* Insurance company name and phone number (if applicable)
* Paper and pencil to write down instructions
Call the hospital (337) 662-5930. If it is not normal working hours, you will reach the answering service. You should briefly discuss your emergency and give contact information where you can be reached. Stay by the phone. Your call will be returned as soon as possible by the on call veterinarian.
What are your hours and fees for emergency work?
Our emergency hours include nights and weekends and holidays when the clinic is not open (regular clinic hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday -Friday). The fee for an after hour call is $100.00 ($175.00 for non-clients) plus services, medication and a trip charge if applicable.
Do you have room for drop off appointments?

How far do you travel for farm calls?
We travel in approximately a 25 mile radius from the clinic in Sunset, LA.
